Launched in 2009, clematis Chevalier is an extremely free-flowering plant with velvet purple, star shaped, sepaled flowers ageing to mid blue as they mature. Ideal for combining with silver or golden foliage evergreen shrubs or underplanted with silver foliage perennials in a pot.
