Once selected for commercial release Raymond Evison cultivars are propagated by vegetative cuttings at The Guernsey Clematis Nursery. Modern facilities coupled with a long growing season ensure plants get off to a good start during their first growing season.
Boulevard® (compact patio) plants are then hardened off and overwintered in a cold environment before being given a short growing period prior to dispatch from Guernsey.
Large Patio and Garden plants grown in a 3 litre pot are shipped from Guernsey after one seasons growing and are grown on for a further season in the UK before distribution. A close partnership with leading nursery stock growers and distributors ensures that fresh stocks of acclimatised garden ready plants are regularly supplied to leading garden centres.
